Parksville Fall Getaway

Whether you live near or far, the Parksville Qualicum Beach area is an incredible place to explore during the fall. Crowds are minimal, yet the summer vibe still lingers. Walk the beaches, explore the towns, or wander the many forested trails for a perfect retreat.

New Hidden Gem

I am so excited to share this month's hidden gem. We recently discovered this incredible spot in Ladysmith on a whim when travelling back from Victoria. It's absolutely serene right now, but it would also make for a fabulous destination next summer.

Stamp River Park

I was back at one of my favourite parks last week, sharing it with visiting family. Now's the time to visit this gem in Port Alberni. The salmon run is in full swing, the scenery is incredible as always, and you may get lucky (like we did) and spot a bear or two.

Haunted Carriage Ride

Spend an hour clip-clopping around the streets of Victoria on this haunted carriage ride. You and your private party will have the undivided attention of your driver/guide, who will spin haunted tales and provide spooky facts as you travel.
