Vancouver Island View

Bringing you ideas about the best ways to explore the island.

Is it too early to talk about Fall? It's my favourite season, so I tend to start dreaming about the crisper days and brighter colours right around now.

โ€‹

I've updated two fall articles this past week and am sharing them below.

If you aren't quite ready to read about autumn activities, I also have an updated article about my favourite Island drive. It's beautiful no matter what time of year it is.

Oceanside Route

This older article was recently refreshed with new material and an interactive map. For some reason, people are loving it on Facebook (so it may have crossed your path already). If not, you can read it here.

Fall Bucket List

Updated information and a new downloadable checklist accompany this Fall Bucket List article. From September until November, there is lots to see and do on the Island.

Fairs & Markets

No matter where you live or roam on Vancouver Island, you will find fantastic Fall Fairs geared to celebrate the bounty of the harvest. A few of them start this weekend! Find a full list here:

Fabulous Find!

The Loghouse Farm store (on Etsy) creates beautiful handcrafted pottery and unique home decor. It is a small family-owned business in the mid-island area. All pottery is made by hand or on a potter's wheel and kiln-fired in small batches. Right now, you can get 10% off most items. If you live in the central Vancouver Island area, please contact them for local pickup and delivery options to save yourself the delivery charge.
